Contemporary Organic Bookshelf With Open Shelves For Living Room Or Office

A bookshelf with a flowing, uneven outline reads like a magazine spread even when it holds an ordinary stack of paperbacks. This organic bookshelf has asymmetrical open shelves that frame empty space as carefully as they frame objects.

Form

The silhouette moves like a river, and the tiers differ in height and depth. That gives you varied room for books, décor and collectibles, while the sculptural shape adds depth to the wall behind it. It suits anyone who wants furniture to make a statement.

Materials and finish

The piece is made of solid wood blocks joined together. A light finish emphasizes natural warmth and tactile texture while keeping a raw, rustic feel. It is shipped separated into parts so it reaches you safely, so some assembly is required.

Where it works

Place it in a living room, a studio or loft, a home office, or a gallery-style space where the furniture itself can be the display.

• Asymmetrical open shelving
• Fluid, organic outline
• Solid wood construction
• Multiple tiers for books and décor
• Assembly required

Grain, texture and color shift between pieces because the material is natural wood. Each shelf is made to order.
